Service Professionals

I’m 44 and my wife and I are caring for my 86 yr-old bed-bound father in NJ but we live/work about 40 mins away. Recently, his neighbors called us about water pooling outside of the front of his home as well as the sump pump seemingly pushing water out to the street. It is currently January and cold so some of the water was also icing. By the time I got to the home to check everything it was clear that no water was inside the basement (Thank God for good seals, French Drain and the sump pump!), but I could hear water running outside the foundation wall (front yard). I called my Dad’s local plumber who referred us to Service Professionals to handle this type of work precisely. By the time I had finished explaining the emergency to the Service Professionals rep. over the phone, we hadn’t even hung-up yet and a Service Pro. dispatch agent was already calling me on the other line to let me know that they would be there in 30 minutes — amazing! When I arrived at the house the service rep., Joaquin, was already there waiting for me. He was extremely professional: friendly, patient, comprehensive — he assessed the issue and confirmed a pipe break from the main water supply outside our home to the street. He also inspected the sump pump and basement connections to the main water supply. He explained everything perfectly and answered my every question. We met on a fair estimate and I gave a deposit knowing that their team would have a backhoe and workers there the very next day at 8AM. The next day the crew arrived on-time and finished the job 3:30/4PM. They never once disturbed my Dad. I made remaining payment and they sent me the completed invoice along with incredibly detailed step-by-step photos (will include as many as possible in this post). They did all of the right things: - They submitted necessary emergency permitting with the town on our behalf, - Used copper wire (serving as the house’s ground), insulation and sand at 4ft deep (in accordance with NJ law), - Sealed outside and inside of where the pipe runs into the house and connected it to the meter, replacing the old knob on the “shut-off valve” in the process for a modern handle, - Let me know that the water meter now has a small drip — and that I’ll need to call the utility (American Water) directly to fix that as the plumber is not allowed to touch/fix the meter by NJ law, - Back outside, where they had to break cement sidewalk in order to access the town water pipe, they replaced the cement with stone gravel / tar (a good temporary fix until we cement), - When I asked one of the workers (who called me at the end of the job) if there was any other “maintenance or upkeep” regarding this repair, he informed me that he had already taken the time to do what he would have told me/homeowner to do (He let the water run in the basement sink to make sure all air/suit was flushed-out and water was running smoothly) — fantastic!, - Aside from Joaquin meeting with me at the house to walk-thru the emergency assessment, they completed the entire job without my needing to be there at all! On behalf of myself, my family, (and my Dad’s neighbors!!), I would like to express how truly impressed and grateful we all are for the great job performed by Service Professionals. I highly recommend this company for residential plumbing — and in this instance emergency water main replacement. Truly a top-notch organization. Thank you!!

Called for service after seeing a promotioal offer and I was so happy with the service I experienced. Marcus was friendly and professional and went above and beyond, taking care of everything that needed to be done. He handled all of the challenges with such ease and I feel very confident moving forward with service professionals, after being treated so well by both him and the customer service phone reps. Their high ratings and recommendations also reassured me that I'm in good hands, with them. In life, a hard lesson learned is, we get what we pay for. Good quality, integrity and reliability doesn't come cheap.

I had my bathroom faucet replacement done by Joe today. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and quick with his work. I would definitely refer him to friends and family. He explained everything he did today and also helped me understand what to expect if I indeed have a leak in my shower which is something we discussed when he gave me my free estimate the Friday before. Overall I had a great experience.

Chris Johnson identifies as an excellent and professional service person who has a highly personal interest in getting the job done. His demeanor is professional, courteous and respectful. He explained what and why he was able to complete the job that was done upon my request for doing so. He arrived promptly and he was thoroughly prepared and in the process of troubleshooting he was thoroughly aware and knowledgeable of what was necessary to obtain appropriate results. I wanted to express how satisfied we were/are with the service. We had a bad experience with another company this week which led me to call here. Ashley who answered the phone & set everything up was pleasant & answered all my questions. Then Scott, the plumber was at the house 2 hours after calling. He was very pleasant, left everything clean & was knowledgeable & efficient. He took his time to explain everything prior & after completing the job. The Price was beyond reasonable. Joe my technician, is the reason for the 5- star rating. He was on-time, professional but also very pleasant. Joe knows what to look for, thorough in checking everything and honest in his evaluation. Don't get me wrong Service Professionals is pricey compared to other providers, but I have always found their technicians to have the highest skill

John Q was great to work with. He arrived right on time, even at the earlier side of the window provided, and was very friendly. He provided transparent updates on the issue and allowed us plenty of time to make a decision on how to proceed with repairs. He was able to quickly fix our heating problem and provide advice on maintenance schedules. We had a great experience end to end, and would highly recommend Service Professionals because of John’s great customer service and work.

I was glad that Service Professionals was able to give me an appointment so quickly. Timothy C. arrived only a couple, of hours after my call. He was very knowledgeable, qualified, friendly and polite. He replaced my leaking kitchen faucet with a very good quality one quickly and did a fine job!
